Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. Her mother left her when she was just two years old to avoid an abusive relationship. She came back into Pickler's life in 1995 and was given custody of her. But things did not turn out the way she had hoped. Pickler was then 12 years old and was remanded to her parents by the judge. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler had to take care of her siblings without her parents. She admitted she no longer had time to study and started learning how to become a housekeeper in her early years. Pickler was an athlete in middle school and her high school. North Stanly High School graduated her in 2004. Pickler has also been a contestant for a beauty pageant. Her name was Miss Stanly.
